Therapies

We are a nurturing and neuro-affirming environment for children who have experienced trauma and may also be neurodivergent. We offer assessments as part of their care in the sensory 2 profile and the Child Attachment and Play Assessment (CAPA) to support their individual attachment and sensory needs.
Our Therapeutic Approach

We utilise an approach of PACE from the Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) model and an underpinning of Crittenden’s Dynamic Maturational Model of Attachment. (DMM). We understand that attachment is not static and seek to understand and then respond therapeutically to the child's ways of relating to caregivers. We draw upon strengths based principles and a neuro affirming approach that  recognises the child's individual skills and neurodiversity. Understanding each child's sensory profile is critical to scaffolding any difficulties around neurodivergence and trauma. We would describe ourselves as a nurturing and thoughtful home.
