Our Staff

We look for caregivers to join our team that are kind, nurturing and fun! We offer a twelve session training in PACE after induction as well as other bespoke trainings related to the children we support such as neurodiversity and attachment. All of our staff are trained in the Level 3 Diploma for  Children's Residential Care after a successful probationary period. We have access to an employee assistance programme for all our staff including counselling and other support. We also nominate a TCW and a Senior staff member each month for MVTP (most valuable team player) which comes with a reward of your choice. We offer double pay at Christmas and time and a half on all other bank holidays. We really do believe that team work makes the dream work and we are a very inclusive and supportive bunch.
Therapeutic Care Worker Vacancy

We currently have a vacancy for a TCW either part time or full time (28-42 hours per week, plus 1 or 2 sleep ins). We would invite you to send you enquiries about this role to natasha.scotford@littleacornstc.com with a copy of your CV. The next step is for this to be reviewed and an application form sent out if you're the sort of person we are looking for. We then invite you to an interview with a Manager and a member of the team and if that goes well you will be offered a two hour shadow shift so that the children are able to give their opinion on whether you are an adult they feel could support them. From there, if you get their approval and the carers too, we would invite you to become a member of our Little Acorns Team!

Senior Therapeutic Care Worker

We currently do not have a vacancy for this position as we have a full Senior team of brilliant adults already.

Flexi Workers

We always have space for flexible working and understand that some amazing people may need a bit more flexibility and pick up shifts ad hoc. The same process applies to the TCW recruitment stages.
