b) Diagnosis or characteristics of ASD, ADHD and PTSD/CPTSD

d) Speech and language difficulties

e) Attachment strategies organised around developmental trauma

Children placed at little acorns may have experienced the following:

a) Multiple placement breakdown

b) Abusive and neglectful experience of caregivers

c) Struggles with anti-social responses to attachment relationships

d) Poor school attendance and/or significant gaps in education

Our ethos is to understand the child’s history through a trauma informed lens and create intersubjective experiences for the child to make sense of themselves, their journey into care and the world around them.
